How it works

Simple. Private. At your own pace.

The whole programme is built around one idea: when both of you answer honestly, and the answers appear simultaneously, you can then see each other's answers.

  1. 01

    One of you signs up.

Whoever's reading this — that's probably you. Pick a display name (people often use a nickname). Set a password. Three minutes.

  2. 02

    Invite your partner.

We send them a short, private invitation. When they accept, your two accounts link as a couple. You each keep your own private login.

  3. 03

    The Guide

Do this together if you can. Nothing's shared yet — this is an information gathering exercise.

  4. 04

    The Big Exercise

Once you've completed The Guide, move to The Big Exercise. It's fun and self-explanatory — this should lead you to many interesting conversations, and set you up for the rest of the course. Remember, one of you answers a question, the other is told that you have, but cannot see your answer. When they answer, the answers from both parties are revealed.

  5. 05

    Go at your own pace

The course is sequential, but you're not stopped from moving to any other chapters you'd like to — and, of course, you can come back to chapters whenever you like.

Tip

Most couples do a chapter together — same sofa, two phones. But you don't have to. It works just as well asynchronously, if one of you travels for work or you're navigating different time zones.

Did you know

The Schedule can be one of the harder gaps to close — but it's probably the most important one to get right.
