This Privacy Policy explains how Pioneer Australian Ventures Pty Ltd (trading as intimacy.world), based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information when you use intimacy.world. We are committed to handling your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. What We Collect
When you use intimacy.world, we may collect: Account information (your email address, a display name, and a securely hashed password); Couple-linking information (which partner account you're linked to, and invite codes used to connect accounts); Content you create in the programme (your responses, notes and selections within exercises, including the Big Exercise, the Planner, the Love Bank, "Where Are We Now?", and similar features); Usage information (general website analytics via Google Analytics, collected in aggregate); Payment information (currently handled manually via bank transfer — we do not store your card or banking details; once online payment is available through a payment processor, that processor will handle and store your payment details directly, not us).
2. Sensitive Information
Some of what you enter into intimacy.world — including responses about your relationship, sexual wellbeing, and physical intimacy — is classified as sensitive information under the Australian Privacy Principles. We only collect this information because you choose to enter it as part of using the programme, and we treat it with a higher standard of care than ordinary personal information. We do not use this content for any purpose beyond delivering the programme to you and your partner, and we do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and operate the intimacy.world programme, including linking you with your partner; respond to support requests you send us; understand overall usage patterns so we can improve the product (via anonymised/aggregated analytics); communicate with you about your account (e.g. confirmation emails, partner invites).
4. Who Can See Your Information
Your partner can see only what a feature is specifically designed to share with them (for example, a revealed Big Exercise result, once you've both submitted). Anything marked private in the app (such as your SWOT grid or your own exercise drafts) is never shown to your partner. We (as the operators of intimacy.world) can access account and content data as needed to provide support or maintain the service, but we do not read your private content as a matter of course. Service providers who host or process data on our behalf (such as our cloud hosting and database provider, and Google Analytics) may process data as needed to provide those services, under their own privacy and security obligations. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
5. How We Protect Your Information
Your data is stored with a cloud database provider using industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections and access controls that restrict who and what can read specific data. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

7. Your Rights
You can request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing us at support@intimacy.world. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. International Visitors
While we are based in Australia and our primary obligations are under Australian law, we aim to handle the personal information of visitors from the EU, UK, and elsewhere consistently with the spirit of applicable data protection laws, including providing clear information about what we collect and honouring reasonable requests to access or delete your data.
9. Children
intimacy.world is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do.
